“Unless God has raised you up for this very thing, you will be worn out by the opposition of men and devils. But if God be for you, who can be against you? Are all of them together stronger than God? O be not weary of well doing!”
- John Wesley

STATE MISSIONS

Salkehatchie: This is a summer service opportunity for the youth of the United Methodist Church. Under the guidance and expertise of adult volunteers, crews spent a week repairing and refurbishing homes of the needy across the state. At camps throughout South Carolina, young people serve Jesus by helping others, and in doing so, they grow spiritually and socially. Minimum age for Salkehatchie Summer Service is 14.

Aldersgate Special Needs Ministry: This is a South Carolina United Methodist Conference program that supports special needs adults by providing care in three group homes across the state. Special focus is placed on this mission during the month of August when congregants have the opportunity to support it through monetary donations or other gifts. Contact: Gail Collins
